Welcome to the Bottom of the Foodchain!

PC: Daphne Suzanne Ever wonder what it's like to be small? Not short. Small. Say the size of an ant? Welcome to Disney's Animal Kingdom! A place where you get to experience wildlife from all over the world! This park has a huge emphasis on taking care of our environment. They don't even give you plasticcups or lids when you get drinks! Every paper product is recyclable and also biodegradable.  This park is the largest in area compared to all of the other parks. If I recall about 4 Magic Kingdoms fits in Animal Kingdom's parking lot alone. Much of this park is covered in vegetation and at the heart is the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is home to the attraction It's Tough to be a Bug . Here you can visit Flick from Bug's Life and may other creepy crawly friends! But be careful of the stink bugs and watch were you step! You don't want to crush any of the performers by accident. And also remember that the performers exit before  you so don't be ...

Magic Carpet or Red Carpet?

Ready to feel BIG ? Disney's Hollywood Studios (formally Disney's MGM Studios) is when you get to experience all of the backstage fun! This whole park was designed so guests feel bigger! All of the buildings were scaled to make guests feel like a "big" Hollywood star walking down boulevards lit up with shops and the smell of fame in the air.  PC:  Daphne Suzanne Hollywood Studio s is home to Rockin' Rollercoaster, the BEST roller coaster of all the Disney Parks! Also check out Disney's Hollywood Tower, or better known as The Tower of Terror! Each of these attractions come with a storyline for guests to feel more immersed in the Hollywood atmosphere. Aerosmith is the main band of Rockin' Rollercoaster! You are a VIP guest and you're LATE! Don't worry the band got you covered. Their agent has a limo ready to race you through Hollywood to make it to the concert! The line to this attraction fills up really quickly and FPs go just as qu...

Around the Globe We Go!

Day Two! Today's adventure starts off with one of the best ways to travel at Disney! Depending on your resort, you may not be able to use this transportation. ALL ABOARD THE MONORAIL! Disney's monorail system is one of the most fun ways to travel. The monorail has two main loops. One that travels the Magic Kingdom route. This route includes stops at MK, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. The other loop (the one we will travel on today) stops at MK, Disney's Transportation and Ticket Center, and EPCOT! PC:  Daphne Suzanne Epcot is all about being ecologically friendly and looking to the future. This park is perfect for a rainy day, because of all of the buildings that people can go in! This park is an amazing place for people who like to shop! My personal favorite part of this park is Epcot's WORLD SHOWCASE! This is located in the back of the park, but is one of the best parts of Disney! T...

Clockwise...or Counterclockwise?

"Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy." Photo credits to me! The first park to visit is, of course , Magic Kingdom! Magic Kingdom is probably the easiest park to navigate in my opinion, but also has a tons of things to explore so lets dive in! First things first, as soon as you enter the park don't follow the crowd that goes to the left! Go to the right towards Tomorrowland! When looking at the map of MK you clearly see that the lands all surround the origin point of Cinderella's Castle . Follow the map counterclockwise! Also avoid all of the traffic going down Main St. and use the shops! All of the shos are connected so just walk straight through. Don't worry about stopping to look you'll want to save that for later! Carrying around bags along with you in the parks is a hassle! I have traditionally gone to the left towards Adventureland, but have found that heading to Tomorrowland is much smarter wh...

WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY!

Walt Disney World is probably the MOST magical place on Earth! Everyone there is a prince or princess, regardless of age. This post I'm gonna talk about what to take with you to Disney...if you've never been there no worries! Your trip will be magical with or without some of these items. For returning members I hope to remind you of some things you may have wished you had packed before! Photo credit to  Daphne Suzanne (aka my mom). First things first...clothing! Yes, clothes are very important in this trip. Orlando, FL is always sunny, and even if it's not sunny, it's humid. I recommend shorts and tank tops (or T-shirts, if you don't want to expose your shoulders). Which brings me to the second most IMPORTANT thing to pack: SUNCSCREEN ! You will burn without it! Expect weather in the 80s to 90s range! With that in mind remember to also pack a bathing suit! Your resort will have a pool! Also don't worry about bringing beach towels as those are provide...
