Around the Globe We Go!
Day Two! Today's adventure starts off with one of the best ways to travel at Disney! Depending on your resort, you may not be able to use this transportation. ALL ABOARD THE MONORAIL! Disney's monorail system is one of the most fun ways to travel. The monorail has two main loops. One that travels the Magic Kingdom route. This route includes stops at MK, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. The other loop (the one we will travel on today) stops at MK, Disney's Transportation and Ticket Center, and EPCOT!
Epcot is all about being ecologically friendly and looking to the future. This park is perfect for a rainy day, because of all of the buildings that people can go in! This park is an amazing place for people who like to shop! My personal favorite part of this park is Epcot's WORLD SHOWCASE! This is located in the back of the park, but is one of the best parts of Disney!
The Showcase takes you on a trip all around the world! Besides shopping, the architecture and the food is also worth checking out. The best shaved ice surprisingly is NOT found in Italy, but in Japan! Japan has THE best Italian ice! The best place if you like tea is by far China. My favorite drink from China is iced Mango Green Tea!
The best part of the Showcase is the fact that the cast members that work here actually people from the country they work out. Disney has an exchange program with these countries. My personal favorite place to eat their is none other than the Great American Adventure, found at the peak of the World Showcase semicircle. This is filled with classic American food, such as burgers and chicken fingers. However if you want to try different cuisine from around the world this is the best place to try. You can eat breakfast in France, Lunch in America, and finish the day eating some Chinese or Mexican.
Speaking of food, a great restaurant found here in Epcot is Coral Reef. Here you find seafood and get to see a huge aquarium filled with many sea creatures. Located here is also Finding Nemo's adventure. Hang with Crush in Turtle Talk and interact with Dory and Squirt too! Also check out the manatees! They are so cute and worth seeing!
The Showcase isn't always for everyone. For those looking for action the front of Epcot is where you will find your entertainment. Try out Mission Space. I recommend the Orange trip. This trip is said to be more intense than the Green Trip. For those who are claustrophobic, this is probably not a ride for you! This is a simulation of a trip to Mars. You and 3 other people are assigned a post on a spaceship. This is a ride I wouldn't necessarily FP.
A FP worthy ride is Mission Earth. Mission Earth is the ride that takes place in the iconic Epcot ball. This ride is slow and dark. You travel through time all the way back to the Ice Age. This ride shows the evolution of humans and how we developed over time to where we are today.
Epcot is probably my favorite park, because it is rich with culture. I personally would spend more time at the World Showcase than on rides here, but that's just me. Depending on what you want to explore about this park will determine the part of the park you spend more time on.

Morgan, the first and only time I visited Disney, I was four year olds. Memories of the international components of Epcot bring back warm memories. I remember I bought tiny carved wooden African safari animals as my souvenir. I think many people perceive Disney as a very "American" attraction, but I had no idea that Disney had an exchange program so visitors could interact with people all over the world and exchange volunteers could get a taste of America. I love that Epcot has so much to offer, and it definitely seems like one of the best stops. Hopefully I'll get to visit Disney again soon!
